Our Consortium

MedU is more than virtual patient cases – it is hundreds of medical educators and students engaging across disciplines to bring continuous innovation in medical education directly to learners and colleagues. Consortium work also provides subscribing medical educators and students the opportunity for professional advancement through national project leadership, broad dissemination of innovation, and multi-center educational research.

MedU Academic Council

The MedU Academic Council formalizes MedU's collaborative model across disciplines. Drawing from the contributions and expertise of its members, the Council advises on cross-disciplinary curriculum development, educational research, and technological innovations. As with MedU’s discipline-specific course boards, the Council works to ensure MedU virtual programs meet the contemporary teaching and learning needs of today’s medical educators, satisfy national accreditation standards, and provide innovative and engaging educational tools for tomorrow’s doctors.
