2009 Clerkship Directors in Internal Medicine Award for Excellence in Educational Program Development

The Louis N. Pangaro, MD, Educational Program Development Award is presented annually to a CDIM member who has contributed to the development of an outstanding educational program.  Please join iInTIME in congratulating this year’s recipients:

The 2009 STFM President's Award goes to the fmCASES Project!

Each year the STFM President's Award is used to recognize STFM members who have made a significant contribution during the president's year in office or members who have had a significant impact on the president during his/her term. We are happy to announce that this year, the award went to the fmCASES Project Development Group (fmPDG) for their work on the fmCASES project!  We are all very thankful for their hard work and know that this award represents a tremendous accomplishment for the project leaders, authors, iInTIME, and their collaborators. 2008 Academic Pediatrics Association Outstanding Teaching Award

We are very pleased to announce that CLIPP received the 2008 Academic Pediatrics Association Outstanding Teaching award on Monday, May 5th at the APA Annual Meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii. The purpose of the APA Outstanding Teaching Award is “to foster interest in the teaching of general pediatrics by giving national recognition to an outstanding general pediatric program. Programs must demonstrate excellence in educational teaching methods, acceptance by students and/or residents, acceptance by the community and the institution innovations and adaptability, or outstanding quality of the individuals trained in the program.” We want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the development, evaluation, use and maintenance of CLIPP. This award truly belongs to everyone who has contributed to CLIPP in any way, and without all of you this significant honor would not have been possible.

2005 AAMC Innovation Award

In December 2005 CLIPP received the inaugural “Innovation in Clinical Medical Student Education Award” from the Northeast Group on Educational Affairs (NEGEA). These awards recognize important, innovative accomplishments in medical education by an individual or a group of individuals who work at an NEGEA school. The NEGEA, a regional organization of the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Educational Affairs (GEA), promotes excellence in the education of medical students, residents, and physicians through the professional development of medical educators.(Fall et al.
